The Art Site of Railway Warehouse, Hsinchu City, was built in 1941 next to Taiwan Railway’s Hsinchu Station. Constructed with brick and wood, the site reflects a blend of aged warehouse charm and the passage of history after being left unused for over six decades due to a reduction in railway operations. Today, it has been revitalized as an art space, once again drawing public attention.

The site spans approximately 400 ping (about 1,320 square meters) and is divided into various functional areas, including a large exhibition hall, a small shop, a train-viewing platform, a multifunctional classroom, artist-in-residence studios, and a family reading space. It regularly hosts exhibitions, lectures, and workshops, creating opportunities for artistic engagement and learning.

Over the past decade, the Art Site has deeply explored local culture, established a collaborative model with the community, and promoted railway and artistic experimentation. By bringing art into the space and closer to the public, it strives to fulfill a vision of integrating art into everyday life.
