Please read all of the application directions carefully. To note: submissions that do not adhere to the guidelines and contain identifying information will be disqualified.
Visual artists: Please submit five (5) images. You may submit previously submitted images and there are no restrictions on the age of the work.
Video artists: Our jurors will review up to three (3) minutes of video work. You may submit a single three (3) minute video or up to five (5) separate clips that total three (3) minutes.
Writers: When preparing your writing sample, adhere to the formatting guidelines in SlideRoom for the genre in which you are applying. Jurors are not required to read beyond the specified page limit. Previously published work must be submitted in manuscript form.
The anonymity is required for your artist portfolio or writing sample. The jury only sees your work. Identifying information is not provided to the jury to avoid bias. It is fine to include personal identifying information in other parts of the application, and it is required for some sections.

Eligibility:
VSC welcomes collaboration and accepts collaborative pairs (no more than two people). Collaborative teams should submit one application as either a visual artist or writer. Residency fees apply to both people.
