Eligibility:
The residency is open to all disciplines of professional artists and work pairs with a pre-planned creative project. Non-fiction writers and general researchers are not eligible. Eligible applicants include: individual artists, work pairs, fiction writers, poets, translators, composers, curators, critics, and other artistic professionals from Finland and abroad. Applicants must be professional artists. They may also be researchers in artistic research at the doctoral level and above (post-doc, etc.). The residency does not accept students, study programs, or work placements. Researchers and non-fiction writers whose academic research is not related to artistic research are not eligible to apply.
Rewards:
The residency includes a monthly grant of 2,700 EUR, 3,200 EUR, or 3,800 EUR, depending on the applicant’s professional experience. The grant is intended to cover living costs, travel expenses, and other necessary costs.
