Eligibility:
Artists from the performing arts and music who are interested in interdisciplinary collaboration between the artistic and scientific fields.
Artists who are open to developing and sharing a project in the form of an exhibition, performance, concert, or other format.
Artists who are active in contemporary culture and respond to the Institute with innovative and challenging ideas.

Outcome:
Work developed during the residency will be presented in cooperation with various local arts institutions in the form of an exhibition, performance, concert, or other form of presentation, and complemented by discursive formats.

Residency Fees:
Artist’s fee: 8,000 euros

Accommodation Fee:
Accommodation fee: 2,000 euros

Paid by Host:
Production budget depending on the project

Financial Assistance:
Technical and administrative support for the realization of the final project.
Travel costs to/from and in Frankfurt;
Collaboration with scientists and researchers;
Access to the Institute’s library, sound studio, and scientific facilities;
Curatorial support during the residency.

Driving Instructions:
By Car
At Frankfurt main station (Hauptbahnhof) take underground line U4 or U5 to Willy-Brandt-Platz. At the stop Willy-Brandt-Platz change to U1, U2, U3 or U8 destined out of town (i. e. not in the direction of “Südbahnhof”).
Or:
At Frankfurt main station (Hauptbahnhof) take any "S-Bahn" (station marked by a green S in a white circle) in the direction of "Hauptwache". At the stop "Hauptwache" change to the underground U1, U2, U3 or U8 destined out of town (i. e. not in the direction of "Südbahnhof"). Get off at "Grüneburgweg", take the exit "Grüneburgweg", after 50 m turn right into "Grüneburgweg" and go straight on. After crossing the street "Im Trutz", you will find our Institute in the building Westend Carree on your right, entrance Grüneburgweg 14.
